Between cultural criticism and deconstruction Reading in the poem of the ( hadith of al shogoon) " Mana Saeed Al Otaiba”

Abstract

Deconstruction is among the proven activities that directly influenced cultural criticism. Which was recorded after it was opened to various critical approaches, and which shared its concepts, foundations and starting points. Therefore, the attempt to understand cultural criticism is originally from the lesson of deconstruction and post-modernist ideas in general. The most prominent critics and figures of the breakthrough were knowledgeable in cultural theorizing and cultural studies, alike, and it is noticeable that cultural criticism has benefited greatly in its theoretical categories and hypotheses from deconstructive reading, the foundations of which were laid by Jacques Derrida (Derrida.J). Deconstruction strategies focus on undermining and dissecting, with the aim of reaching the anxious structures that shake the text and question its statements, so that the text then opens up to infinite connotations, so that the meaning continues to travel along arduous and limitless paths. Whenever we think we have grasped it, we are surprised by a different reading of it that contradicts it.
Cultural criticism also started from the idea of undermining, but it did not revolve around it for the sake of permanently undermining meanings. Rather, it deconstructed texts in order to reach cultural patterns that were deep and hidden within the texts. Perhaps this is the most important deconstructive feature whose impact has appeared in cultural criticism.
In this article, we attempt to investigate these constant intersections between cultural rejection and deconstruction, applying them to a poetic text by the Emirati poet Mana Saeed Al Otaiba.
