The research studies the poetic license in the verses of Al-Salsabil Al-Shafi by Othman bin Sulaiman Murad, and its types, trying to spot its places in Al-Salsabil and the opinions of scholars about it. Among the objectives of the research that it aimed to achieve: knowing the positions of poetic license and its types in the verses of Al-Salsabil Al-Shafi, and studying the places of poetic license and discussing them according to what was stated in the main books. The research adopted the descriptive approach, using analysis as one its tools. It becomes clear in this research that the poetic license mentioned in Al-Salsabil Al-Shafi varied according to the need for its poetic meter, and perhaps this is due to clarifying to the reader the permissibility of violating the rule in the aforementioned places. Among the research results I reached: - The term “poeticism” according to grammarians is that in which the poet differs from what is modern in the linguistic system, whether it has any objection or not. The term poetics is a common terminology that includes linguistic sciences from grammar and morphology to that. - It was poetic in the linguistic rules studied in the system of the healing path, acquiring poetic weight. Nazim followed the path of the public in his application of the poetic necessity in following up on the departure from linguistic instructions.
