The study aimed to identify the relationship between cognitive distortions and self-efficacy among a sample of people with visual disabilities, and to reveal the contribution of cognitive distortions in predicting self-efficacy among a sample of people with visual disabilities. The study sample consisted of (49) blind students at Al Nour School for the Blind in Qena Governorate. The researcher relied on a measure of cognitive distortions prepared by (Islam Al-Assar, 2015). The researcher prepared a measure of self-efficacy. The results of the study revealed a negative relationship between cognitive distortions and self-efficacy. The results of the study also showed that cognitive distortions contribute to predicting self-efficacy.
