Abstract

The current research aimed to study the effectiveness of cognitive-behavioral therapy for the development of self-efficacy on a sample of people with hearing and motor disabilities in the primary stage.
The sample of the study consisted of (30) male and female students in the primary stage with hearing and motor disabilities, their ages ranged between (9-12) years with a standard mean of (35,859) and a standard deviation of (1.911), using the self-efficacy scale prepared by the researcher, and the study relied on the semi-syllabus Experimental to verify the hypotheses of the research, which states:
1- There are statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the experimental group members and the mean scores of the control group members on the self-efficacy scale after applying the program in favor of the experimental group.
2-There are statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the experimental group members in the pre and post measurements after applying a program in favor of the post measurement.
3- There are no statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the experimental group members and the mean scores of the control group members in the post and follow-up measurements after applying the program.
By using arithmetic averages and correlation coefficients, the results of the study showed that there were statistically significant differences after applying the program in favor of the experimental group.
The results showed: There are statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the experimental group members and the mean scores of the control group members on the self-efficacy scale and its dimensions after applying the program in favor of the experimental group.
