The transport industry represents a cornerstone in economic and social development. The last quarter of the twentieth century witnessed major changes in economic and political concepts and systems, and this was accompanied by several developments in transport systems, whose features began to crystallize through strategies of liberation from traditional transport to the emergence of transport by logistics centers for freight parcels and goods in order to raise the level of services provided and achieve a competitive advantage to face other traditional systems.Accordingly, this study aims to monitor the first beginnings of the emergence and development of logistics centers for shipping parcels, and determine how to classify and distribute them as well as the factors influencing that, and to analyze the logistics centers for shipping parcels in the city with a quantitative geographical analysis so as to determine the strengths and their investment, as well as the weaknesses and their development. In addition, it aims at identifying receiving and sending areas, shedding light on the economics of handling the movement of parcels and goods, and finally monitoring some characteristics of reluctant customers and their levels of satisfaction with the services of the logistics centers provided as well as highlighting their most important problems. In order for the study to achieve its desired aims, the researcher used a number of approaches and methods, most notably: the historical approach, the systems analysis approach, and the descriptive approach in presenting and interpreting the study data. After fulfilling and analyzing all the elements of the research, the study ended with a conclusion in order to highlight the results of the study aims, which were identified in the introduction.
