The Scientific, Cultural, and Intellectual Contributions of Muslim Women from the First Hijri Century to the Twelfth Hijri Century: A Study in Biographical Dictionaries

     The study was concerned with the statement of the scientific, cultural and intellectual contributions of Muslim women with a focus on the aspects of classification and authorship through the eras of the Arab-Islamic civilization starting from the first century AH until the twelfth century AH by extracting data from some dictionaries of translations that revealed their contributions, and the study aimed to monitor the contributions of Muslim women in the fields of scientific, intellectual and cultural life, while tracking the numerical, temporal and spatial trends of Muslim women's writings in addition to analyzing the objective trends of these works, and adopted  The results of the study revealed that there are many contributions of Muslim women in various scientific and cultural fields in addition to their contributions to classification and authorship, as the number of Muslim women with contributions during the study period reached (45) women, and that their contributions amounted to (73) authors between books, letters, collections, poems, sheikhdoms and others, and the study also found that the contributions of Muslim women in the sciences of the Islamic religion came In the first place with (58) contributions by 73.4% of the total contributions of Muslim women, followed by Arabic literature and its (15) branches by 19.0%, then geography, travels, history and translations and (3) intellectual contributions by 3.8%, followed by Arabic language sciences with only (2) by 2.5%, while the last place was the share of social sciences with one contribution and 1.3% of the total contributions of Muslim women in various knowledge topics, and the study recommended the preparation of a database to inventory the contributions of Muslim women in the field of classification And authorship during the eras of the Arab-Islamic civilization until the present era.
