Traumatic experiences and their relationship to addiction to some anathetizing drugs

The aim of the current research is to identify the relationship between traumatic experiences and addiction to some narcotic substances (cannabis, opioid, shappo), and to reveal the extent of the contribution of traumatic experiences in predicting addiction and addiction to some narcotic substances, shappo-cannabis-opioid. The sample of the study consisted of (150) drug addicts (cannabis, shappo, opioid derivatives, heroin, and codeine) with an age range of (18:45), with an average age of (32.2), and a standard deviation of (7.7). The duration of their abuse ranged from (2:25). ) years, and the standards were applied to individuals who attended the Al-Azimah Center for Addiction Treatment in Qena, Al-Mamoura Hospital for Mental Health and Addiction Treatment, and Sohag Hospital for Mental Health The researcher used the scale of traumatic experiences (prepared by the researcher). The addiction scale was also used (prepared by the researcher, and the study found a statistically significant correlation between traumatic experiences and addiction at the level of significance (0.01). The study also concluded that traumatic experiences contribute to predicting addiction to some narcotic substances cannabis, opioid, shappo. The results revealed that there were no differences between the addicts of cannabis, shappo, and opioid in traumatic experiences and addiction due to some demographic variables (type of substance).
