The current study aimed to identify the the relationship between smartphone addiction and both family Stress and life satisfaction. The descriptive correlational approach was used. The study sample consisted of (198) Young People in Jazan region. The smartphone addiction scale was applied to them (prepared by Al-Enezi, 2020), and the family stress scale (prepared by Al-Najjar, 2019), and the life satisfaction scale (prepared by Afana, 2018).
The study concluded that there is a statistically significant negative correlation between smartphone addiction (dimensions and total score) and family Stress (dimensions and total score) among Young People, and there is also a statistically significant negative correlation between smartphone addiction (dimensions and total score) and life satisfaction (Dimensions and total score) for young people.
