The semiotics of the poetic image in the system “Nami Digeri Duzakh – Another Name for Hell” by the poet Shapour Gorkesh

Abstract

            This research is concerned with studying the poetic image of one of Iran's renewed poets in modern Persian poetry, the poet Shapour Gorkesh, through his poetic system "Nami Degre Dozhkh - another name for hell" semiotically.
            This research included an introduction and four main topics. The first topic carries: the definition of the poet Shapur Gorkesh and his most important works and the definition of the poetic system, while the second topic dealt with: the definition of semiotics linguistically and idiomatically, as well as the definition of the poetic image linguistically and idiomatically, and the third topic dealt with: the poetic image and semiotics that correspond to the senses, while the fourth topic dealt with: the poetic image and semiotics Diagnosis, and this research relies on the semiotic approach, not ignoring other approaches to reach the objectives of the study.
