The Role of the Course "University Study Skills" in Enhancing the Academic Quality of Life among Female Students at Jeddah University (A Sociological and Developmental Study)

Abstract

This research aims to explore the role of the university study skills course in enhancing the academic quality of life among female students at Jeddah University. It also seeks to investigate the impact of academic quality of life on educational outcomes, as well as the current level of academic quality of life among female students at the university. Additionally, the study aims to understand the relationship between the university study skills course and academic quality of life. To achieve these objectives, the researcher adopted a descriptive-analytical approach and employed a questionnaire as the primary data collection tool. The results revealed that the university study skills course plays a significant role in enhancing the academic quality of life among female students at Jeddah University. Furthermore, a strong correlation was found between the university study skills course and academic quality of life, which positively influenced educational outcomes and overall academic quality of life.
 
Based on these findings, the researcher recommends the necessity of enhancing the capabilities and skills of female students at Jeddah University by providing programs and training courses that cover the latest developments and approaches in dealing with academic life. Moreover, it is crucial to maintain the high level of academic quality of life among female students through continuous and periodic evaluation. Adequate resources and facilities should be provided to create an appropriate environment conducive to increasing academic quality of life and achieving educational objectives.
