Dimensions of Self-Efficacy And its relationship to the Meaning of life In A sample of Addicts in the Recovery phase

Abstract

      The study aimed to find out the relationship between the dimensions of self-efficacy and the meaning of life among a sample of addicts in the recovery stage of inmates of psychiatric hospitals and addiction treatment centers, and the sample consisted of (80) individuals aged between (14-24), The researcher used the basic data questionnaire (prepared by the researcher), the measure of self-efficacy (prepared by Walaa Youssef 2016), and the measure of the meaning of life (prepared by the researcher), and used the Pearson correlation coefficient to analyze the correlation between the variables of the study, and the results of the study found a statistically significant correlation between the dimensions of self-efficacy (initiative - effort exerted - perseverance - effectiveness capacity) and the meaning of life, as well as the link between self-efficacy (total degree) with the meaning of life among a sample of addicts in the recovery stage.
