Abstract

The current study aimed to find out the differences between prostitutes and non-prostitutes in irrational thoughts, body image, and histrionic personality disorder, The sample consisted of (200) prostitutes and non-prostitutes (100 prostitutes - 100 non-prostitutes) from punitive and application institutions and ordinary groups (2022-2023 AD) belonging to the categories of prostitutes and non-prostitutes, and their ages ranged between (15-35 years) with an average age of (19.45). and standard deviation (4.65), in order to verify the psychometric characteristics of the study tools, and calculate the results;The irrational thoughts scale prepared by Suleiman Al-Rihani (1987), the body image scale prepared by Hana Shuwaikh (2009) and the histrionic personality disorder scale prepared by the researcher. The results showed that there were differences between prostitutes and non-prostitutes in the direction of prostitutes in irrational thoughts, body image and histrionic personality disorder in the direction of prostitutes.
