Abstract

Intellectual security is considered one of the most important issues that must be taken care of by all the various state institutions, and maintaining it is not only the responsibility of the security authorities, but is shared by all members of society and its institutions, including the Two Holy Mosques, given its important religious status in the hearts of Muslims, and because it is one of the most important institutions. Social work that seeks to achieve various goals that benefit the individual and society as a whole, which is represented in instilling sound doctrine and correcting misconceptions. Its role in enhancing intellectual security, which contributes to preserving the safety of society.
Graphic methods (metaphor - simile - metonymy) have appeared clearly in the sermons of the Two Holy Mosques by enhancing intellectual security. They are among the rhetorical methods that are considered a feature of the statement and influence on the recipient.
From this standpoint, the research will address the role of the sermons of the Two Holy Mosques in enhancing intellectual security to ensure the development of cultural identity and dealing with new values
For this; The approach of this research entitled (Speech acts in the speech of King Salman bin Abdulaziz in the Shura Council for the eighth year as a model in light of Austin’s theory); Because King Salman bin Abdulaziz - may God protect him - is distinguished by his cultural awareness, intelligence, and ability to use influential and expressive language, and this is what appeared in the way he presented it and his style, which makes King Salman’s speech in the Shura Council a speech that falls under the category of speeches that are characterized by guidance.
Interactive and creative, through which he expressed the position of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its internal and foreign policy through communicative language that seeks to direct public opinion towards its goals. Therefore, this speech is considered one of the speeches that falls under social interaction that carries intellectual aspects, which it seeks to deliver to the recipients in an interactive communication process.
