Spatial Assessment of the Reality and Future of General Pharmacies in Qena

Abstract

Pharmacies are the most commonly prescribed Medication services. this is why the spotlight has been placed on public pharmacies in Qena, so The city used as a location because it the capital of the province. Pharmacy sites were collected on the ground through Gps Coordinates application, in 2022, there were 304 pharmacies, Spatial Analysis Approach has been used to study the current situation through a set of statistical analyzes: Mean Center, Median Center, central feature, standard distance, Directional Distribution, Buffer, Average Nearest Neighbor with ArcGIS 10.4. In addition, a model of future public pharmacy proposed locations in the city was constructed according to a set of criteria, with each criterion weighed according to its importance in the model, also an interactive Web map of the city's public pharmacies has been created via ArcGIS Online and is available for public sharing through a link, and so GIS thus has an important role to play in pharmaceutical care
