Vocational Adjustment among administrative employees at Jazan University

Abstract

The research aimed to identify the level of the vocational adjustment, and to investigate differences in the vocational adjustment due to gender, educational qualification, and years of experience among administrative employees at Jazan University. The descriptive approach was used, and the study sample consisted of (318) administrative employees at Jazan University, and vocational adjustment scale was also prepared. The results showed that there were high level of vocational adjustment (general scale and sub scale) among the sample. And it indicted that there were significant differences in  (satisfaction with promotion and salary, adjustment with colleagues and suitability of work), and there was no differences in  (adjustment with management, social participation, and the total score of vocational adjustment) due to gender among administrative employees at Jazan University. moreover, there were no significant differences in vocational adjustment (general scale and sub scale) due to educational qualification, and years of experience among administrative employees at Jazan University.
