Building a preventive strategy for the new terrorist crimes, a field sociological study based on a sample of experts at the Nasser Higher Military Academy in Cairo

Abstract

This study dealt with the subject of building a preventive strategy for the crimes of new terrorism, and aimed to reveal the reality of the new terrorism in Egypt and the Arab world, identify its forms, level, objectives, negative repercussions and the importance of combating it, and reveal the factors for the emergence of new terrorism and identify the means and mechanisms used by it. As well as identifying the most important measures taken to prevent the escalation of new terrorism in Egypt at the levels (economic, social, political, security, military and religious) and how to build the capacity of Egyptian countries strategically to prevent the growth of the phenomenon of new terrorism in the future and identify the challenges that hinder this path, and the study used the descriptive analytical approach and case study, relying on the interview guide, telephone call, audio recording and official recordings to collect data for the study community.
The study reached a set of results, including:
 The results showed that the new terrorism is represented in several axes, including electronic and digital terrorism.  The results also indicate that the new terrorism targets the youth through social media sites and platforms. The lack of awareness and awareness is one of the reasons that lead to the spread and power of new terrorism in all its forms. The new terrorism, as the results show, exploits the energies of young people to implement its ideas and agendas in the absence of proper guidance for them.
