Abstract

The current research aims to identify the psychometric efficiency of the diagnostic scale for mathematical learning difficulties among a sample of elementary school students, and verifying its validity, stability, and extracting its standards.
To achieve this goal, the researcher prepared the scale in its final form, And consists of (35 questions) Distributed on two copies, one copy for the fourth grade and consists of (15 phrases), and the other copy for the fifth grade and consists  of (20 sentences), The distribution of questions was considered in light of Bloom's taxonomy of the three cognitive learning objectives (Remembering - Understanding - Application), which Includes (remembering level 6 questions- Understanding level 7 questions- Application level 5 questions) in the fourth grade test, while Includes(remembering level 6 questions- Understanding level 9 questions-  Application level 6 questions)  in the fifth grade test. To verify the validity and reliability of the scale, the researcher applied it to a sample of (120) students from the fourth and fifth grades in two primary schools (azazeya dishna elementary- martyr Monastir Hassan Rashawn for Basic Education ), whose ages ranged between (9±11)years, whose IQ ranged between (90-110), the results of the research showed that the diagnostic scale for  difficulties learning  mathematics has a high degree of validity and reliability, therefore, it is suitable for use with a high degree of confidence
