Creativity in the way of formulating the art of simile among Arabs Descriptive analytical study

Abstract

The simile is the most common form of explanation that draws us to the elements of beauty in the universe and the creatures in it, by imitating them and highlighting the virtues in the simile by attaching or contrasting them with the virtues of the person being compared. It has artistic value and stylistic effects. It soothes the soul, awakens the imagination, illuminates the mind, and satisfies... For this reason, the rhetoricians resorted to similes and competed in inventing similes, embellishing them, and embellishing them. Because simile is one of the virtues of systems and stems from human nature.
This article begins to study the stage that preceded the formation of simile with this image that we see in the collections of some poets who followed special rules in order to compare different appearances to one another. At this stage, the poet addresses the collection of attributes that want one thing to resemble another in those attributes, then he attaches them to that thing. To reach this purpose, we initially define simile in language and terminology, then mention the sections and simile on the basis of different criteria, mentioning examples for each of them. In the end, we studied the compilation stage in detail, providing various examples to confirm our claim.
