The research includes: an introduction that includes the elements of the research, then an introduction that gives a brief overview of the poet Abdul Sattar Salim, as well as a definition of linking in language, terminology, its benefit, its types (verbal, semantic) and its effect on the cohesion of the text, then a study of links with the adjective through the poet’s poetry, and the results of the research are many, the most prominent of which is: that verbal links in their various types are among the important matters that make Arabic speech straight, and if these links did not exist in speech, the meaning would be corrupted, the system would be disturbed, and understanding would be impossible, and the research ended with the most prominent sources and references that it benefited from.
