The significance of applied stylistic appendices in the poetry of Ibn Hayyus (394-473 AH)

Abstract

This research aims to study the significance of applied stylistic appendices in the poetry of Ibn Hayyus (394-473 AH) in depth in light of the data of the different language systems and to clarify the role they play in clarifying, describing and indicating the poetic verse, i.e. linking them to the different sciences of the Arabic language, from grammar, morphology, rhetoric and criticism, by analyzing these poetic verses with a precise analysis, then knowing whether they contain a appendix or not, then studying this appendix from the perspective of these linguistic systems.
The research dealt with the objectives of the study, the method followed, previous studies, then a definition of the poet (his life, upbringing, and poetry). The research also dealt with a definition of the dependents in language, terminology, and the significance of the dependents, and explained some examples of the use of grammatical dependents in poetry, and mentioned the dependents and their significance in the poetry of Ibn Hayyus: (the adjective, the emphasis, the conjunction, and the substitute) a definition in language, terminology, and purposes, and an applied study of them through the poetry of the poet (Ibn Hayyus), then I followed it with the conclusion, and the multiple and varied sources and references.
