Counseling Self-Efficacy and its Relationship to Positive Thinking among Female Student Counsellor in Medina

Abstract

The research aimed to identify the level of counseling self-efficacy and positive thinking, and to investigate the relationship between counseling self-efficacy and positive thinking, and verifying the possibility of predicting the degree of positive thinking Through the degree of counseling self-efficacy among female student counselor in Medina.
The correlative descriptive approach was used, as the study sample consisted of (167) female student counselors in Medina, It was a random sample during the year 1445 h. to collect information, the researcher used scales of counseling self-efficacy (prepared by Al-Hourani, 2009), and positive thinking (Prepared by: Abu Tir, 2020) were used. The researcher also used (SPSS),  and Pearson correlation coefficient, T-test,  Regression Analysis.
The research results showed that there was a high level of counseling self-efficacy and positive thinking among female student counselors. The results also showed a statistically significant positive correlation between counseling self-efficacy and positive thinking. Finally, the results showed the possibility of predicting positive thinking through the degree of counseling self-efficacy among female student counselor in Medina.
