The Role of Religious Media In The Phenomenon Of Religiosity Among Female Artists In Egyptian Society Field-Analytical Study

The importance of religion has increased for the individual according to the nature of the times, the study opens up to many new concepts that have become present in the religious field, perhaps among them, the concept of new preachers, which is one of the new concepts in the field of religious media and their impact on through mass communication mechanisms. And the emergence of terms such as the globalization of religion in light of the relationship between religion and the media, and the emergence of many new phenomena in society such as "individual religiosity of female artists"; and "new preachers"; the veil of female artists, the removal of the veil. Art is of course a social phenomenon that affects the imagination and with the transformations that have occurred in the religious media space, which is characterized by the environment of new preachers, the current research comes to identify the role of the influence of new preachers in the phenomenon of religiosity among female artists and whether satellite channels and new media contributed to this effect.
-        Is the phenomenon of veiling among female artists a result of religious conviction, or is it a response to individual and social developments?
-        What are the real reasons for the retirement and veiling of female artists, or what is known as (the repentance of female artists)?
The results of the field study confirmed:

There are differences between rural and urban women with regard to the quality of the hijab. The sample responses indicated that the percentage of wearing the illegal hijab reached its highest rate in urban areas, while the percentage of wearing the legal hijab increased in the countryside.

The phenomenon of the retirement of female artists and their hijab, or the so-called repentance of female artists, was one of the most prominent phenomena that occupied the artistic scene and touched on various religious, political and social reasons.
The social and political conditions created the conditions for the phenomenon of retirement and repentance of female artists, and preachers had the most important role in the prevalence of that phenomenon, and Sheikh Al-Shaarawy was specifically one of the most prominent people who supported and sponsored that phenomenon.
