Abstract

Civilization, with its multiple meanings, applies to humanity throughout all historical stages. However, civilization must have several foundations, foremost among them being alienation and the stance on technology.
Civilization reflects human progress and development in all aspects of life. It is an essential concept with historical dimensions. Hence, this research, Civilization and Alienation (A position on Technology) A Critical  Analytical Study, it aims to establish fundamental and essential points in civilizational thought through the continuous process of evolution and advancement.
Our era is entirely new in every sense of the word. Therefore, technological progress has had a profound impact on the perception of societies, shaping a rich and dynamic civilization capable of facing challenges.
The natural and inherent tendency of humans to engage with scientific advancements in particular, and civilization in general, should never be overlooked.
Technology is an ongoing project—one that can never truly end—because its end would signify the end of humanity, leading to a leap into the void and the unknown.
This overemphasis on technology requires critical reflection, as it carries both positive and negative implications, particularly regarding ethics. The emergence of alienated ethics intensifies individuals' sense of loss and unconscious detachment, leaving them stagnant at a zero point due to their inability to keep pace with rapid developments.

This research adopts the essential analytical and critical methodology, where we analyze the research concept and critique it from our perspective.
The study explores multiple themes, including the concept of technology, its significance, classifications, its relationship with ethics, and ethical concepts such as alienation. It also examines the intersection of technology and politics (modern warfare) and its impact on advancement and armament.
Finally, the fundamental question arises: How can we engage with technology in a way that ensures peaceful coexistence with it—one that fosters a complete state of happiness and optimism?

Key Findings (Researcher's Perspective):

Technological Civilization – An attempt to create a non-contradictory civilization that harmonizes with technology despite its differences.
Technology and Politics – We examined the use of weapons of mass destruction and their capacity for civilizational negation and human destruction.
The Ethics of Technology (Positive vs. Negative) – We explored the perspectives of both technology critics and advocates, emphasizing its strong presence in ethical discussions. Finally, we concluded with practical and essential recommendations to address these challenges effectively.
