Abstract

The research dealt with the study on the coastal sand dunes in the El Borolos triangle region is through the Physical characteristics (Geological, Morphological and Climatic), the spatial distribution of the Sand dunes and their different ranges and densities, the extent of changes and movements, and the effects on human activities, urban areas, transportation and communication methods, then how to deal with them and avoid hazards, and the scope of GIS&RS technology and spatial modeling in study and their use, especially that the study area is considered one of the main areas that The responsible authorities have directed their attention to it at The Contemporary, so it is necessary to provide some solutions and proposals for decision-making through the possibility of implementation to avoid these hazards, which provides an opportunity for development operations, and the representation of the coastal dunes with the movements and changes caused by them , The Geomorphological hazards in El Borolos region, north of the delta, effectively stands in the way of economic and urban development, there are many parts that are damaged by the effects of existence due to the times and Near from Coastal Sand dunes (Villages, located in the northeast of Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate), in addition to the many transport routes that have been damaged due to the times, especially the internal roads between the villages and some of them, as the movement of sand and debris of different sizes and shapes quickly took the roads to the neighboring houses, which was one of the important reasons for the study.
