This study investigates the extent to wich first year university students benefit from digital resources available on the internet and through the university's website, as well as 'their level of satisfaction with these resources. It explores the positive and negative impacts these resources have on students and their academic performance. The research also proposes solutions to enhance the quality and accessibility of digital resources and university digital libraries.To achieve these objectives, the study conducted a field surver across all university colleges and their respactive digital libraries. It examined the current state of digital resource availability and usag, identifying both strengths and weaknesses in the system. The goal was to identify the challeng that hinder first- year students from fully utilizing these resources and suggest ways improve access and engagement. The researcher employed a descriptive field approach to assess how first- year students beneffit from digital resources in relation to their academic currclum. Descriptive and analytical statististics were used to evaluate the students' utilization of these resources and to gather the necessary data for the study.the study yielded serveral key findings, the most significant of wich is that a majority of first- year students(73%) are attracted to using digital resources, primarily due to the valuable information they provide. However, 23.75% of students reported not using these resources, a figure that, while smaller, still indicates a notworthy portion of the student body.
