And adults (Arabization by Kafafi et al., 2020), the Borderline Personality Disorder Scale (prepared by Radwan, 2023), and the Dependent Personality Disorder Scale (prepared by the researcher). There are statistically significant differences in the average scores of individuals on the alexithymia scale, according to the gender variable, in favor of the male group, while there were no differences between the two groups in both borderline and dependent personality disorders. There are also statistically significant differences in the average scores of individuals on Borderline personality disorder scale according to the age variable, in favor of the group under 20 years of age, while there were no differences between the two groups in both alexithymia and dependent personality disorder.
There were no statistically significant differences in the average scores of individuals on the alexithymia scale and the borderline and dependent personality disorder scales according to the variables (place of residence, work, educational level, and economic level), and there is also a statistically significant negative correlation between alexithymia and borderline and dependent personality disorders among students.
