Abstract

The research aimed to explore the relationship of counseling self- efficacy with both dispositional mindfulness and psychological well- being among students' counselors at general directorate of education's schools at Jazan. A total of (150) students' counselors were selected by simple random sampling method and the descriptive method was used to achieve study objectives. The study instruments consisted of three scales: The first one is the counseling self- efficacy scale which was prepared by (Alwaledi & Arnout, 2016), the second one is the five facet of dispositional mindfulness scale prepared by (Baer et al., 2006) and translated and transformed into Arabic by the researcher, and the final one is the psychological well- being scale prepared by (Springer & Hauser, 2006) and translated and transformed into Arabic by (Abu Hashim, 2010), Pearson correlational coefficient and Simple Linear regression were used for statistical analysis. Results indicated a statistically significant relationship between counseling self-efficacy with both mindfulness and psychological well- being, and some subscales of dispositional mindfulness (Acting with awareness 35.9%, observing 27.6, non-judging the inner experience17.9 ) and some subscales of psychological well-being ( personal development 32.1%, self-acceptance 22.8%, positive relationships 21.4 %, environmental mastery 13.8% )  were significant predictors of counseling self-efficacy.
